I hate when somebody acts indignant when they screw up and start looking for an excuse to not say sorry. Especially when they try to piss me off to get their excuse. Because I will gladly give it to you, and break you down to your basic elements.

well that's not my fault... maybe if you explained it better it wouldn't be a problem.

I wish A3's were available with 3 pedals and Quattro. That would be awesome

Very true. They really shortchanged their market when they omitted that option.

and TDI!
Sadly, the TDI was automatic FWD only :(
And fuck them for not giving us the new A3 hatchback at all, stupid fattened-up sedan.

Well I'm just saying I hope you don't expect me to apologize for that!

Even just TDI+Quattro would be nice.
Anyone who buys the new A3 sedan is just too cheap to buy an A4. Spend a little more and get the better A4.

At least TDI+Quattro. That would be a big seller.

I got called into the principles office on Monday. I have this one chippy loan officer that pushes issues, calls on weekends and emails while I'm on vacation. I dropped an f-bomb on her on Friday and told her we were done working together. My boss asked me if I was going to apologize. I said "nope". Meant every word. Just regretted my language usage. He knows she's a pest but told me "fair enough". Having done some searching this week I realized I almost sacrificed a 10 year career over a panicky amateur.
You gotta have the cooler head.

I would love that combo even with DSG. Unlimited power potential!

a TDI Quattro A3 would've been awesome. That's something I would've bought as a DD. And I'm not just saying that either, I looked at A3's before I bought my BMW but was really disappointed when I found out you couldn't get manual+Quattro and my dealer didn't even have any TDI's. They sent me to the VW dealer or tried to pawn an A4 onto me.

You'd be surprised how many families actually teach their children that saying 'sorry' is bad, because it admits weakness. Some people believe that if someone is asking you to say 'sorry', it's them wanting to deliberately humiliate you. Instead, they offer an excuse because they mean to be sorry but it would be a huge (to them, not to everyone else) admission of weakness and fault if they say that they are sorry.
It comes from growing up in a household with parents who desperately seek approval and maintain the status quo.

That's probably very true. She comes from money and seems like the never say sorry type.

Coming this fall Audi will have a TDI A3 front wheel drive as well as the S3 which will be quattro, S-tronic, and 4 wheel independently controlled magnetic ride control. The S3's 2.0L engine will have 292 hp (yep that's 146 hp/ liter which is better power per liter than the Lamborghini Aventador). The Q3 will also debut hence the banner's at Audi's launch event in Denver, CO a few weeks ago.

Yep. I am aware. I work at a VW dealership right by corporate so we're pretty plugged in on both brands.

How do you like it down there? After I get some time under my belt and get my teeth cut, my wife and I were looking to take the opportunity to move South with my new career path.

I like it here a LOT! Although I grew up in the Charlotte area but moved away the year after graduating college. I recently moved back to this area and cannot believe all the growth and opportunities here now - especially with the market for premium autos. The stats indicate a net of 35 people move into the Charlotte area everyday. So come on down!

There are 2 Audi dealers here. I am with the one at Northlake. It's a Hendrick dealership.

I love working for them. We have 100% paid healthcare but it is the people I work with that make coming to work everyday so awesome. We are all enthusiast to a degree and spend a fair amount of time drooling over the inventory. lol...
